Asian Style Pepper steak slow cooker soup

Part I

2 lbs round beef steak

1/4 cup soy sauce, low-sodium

1 small chopped onions

1  garlic clove, minced

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon  ground ginger

Part II

1 red bell pepper, cut in strips

1 green bell pepper, cut in strips

1 can 16oz diced tomatoes, drained

Directions:

Part I:

Cut Beef into strips 3inchs x 1inch strips then put in slow cooker.

In separate bowl, combine soy sauce, garlic, sugar, salt, pepper and ginger.  Pour over beef.

Cover.  Cook on LOW 5-6 hours.

Part II

Add tomatoes and bell peppers. Cook 1 hour longer.

Serve over Rice

Maybe thicken with making a paste from water and cornstarch for regular pepper steak.

Ideal slow cooker size 4-5 quart
