Lace’s Pulled Beef

4 pounds beef roast

2 envelopes dry ranch dressing mix

2 envelopes dry Italian dressing mix

barbecue sauce (to taste)

 

Directions:

Place roast in slow cooker sprinkle with dry salad dressing mixes. Place lid and cook roast on HIGH for 5-6 hours or on LOW for 8-10 hours, or until tender but not over cooked. DO NOT ADD any liquid by the end of  the cooking time there will be broth from cooking-DO NOT DISCARD IT!

Remove roast to a tray to shred it on. Return the shredded meat to the slow cooker to the broth stir well and then add barbecue sauce to shredded meat. Stir to spread barbecue sauce evenly. Put on LOW for 1 hour to heat barbecue sauce.

Serve immediately on bun.
