I came up with the name Big heart’s kitchen because growing up in Southeast Louisiana. I was always a Grandpa’s girl and He called me his Big heart growing up. So the name is in honor of my relationship with my Grandpa. Who also loved to cook.
Writing original recipes of a variety has become a hobby of mine for this page could keep growing as I write recipes. I enjoy cooking for my family and also with my son.
I’m a strong believer in kids learning to cook.
When my son was little I had 1 rule if he was helping cook that he had to try it.
It has made him a much better eater.
